NODREAMS

The sun has left to make room for the cold moon.

The dance of bright stars amongst the fallen;
Teardrops frozen in the time when
They were trapped in warm bodies.

Little creatures wander our homes,
Singing a silent sleep-spell...
To keep us barely there.

We dream through the fabric of the universe
Most forget but slip; I tend to slip and rarely sleep.
In the corner of my eye reality is stripped:
Dividing into the felt and foreseen.

Suddenly I am thrown into a void of pleasure
White magic turning dark,
Leaving us in an orgasmic death
With a ticking clock stealing my desire to stay.

There is other life in hiding,
As I am electrically brought back to life,
Embraced by the god of dreams
To return only if I don't say a thing.
