gleamy câmpina
Câmpina is the hometown of one of my friends and she wanted to take us for a tour in 2017. It's a small city with a lot of spirit (as the stories our friend told us are full of adventures), it has two main clubs of which we heard that are ok-ish. We went in one.
Other than that, you have plenty spots full of nature to hang out and some touristic attractions. It also used to be a
"customs point on the trade route between Transylvania and Wallachia, the town developed at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century as an oil extraction and processing center. Between 1897 and 1898, Câmpina was the site of the largest oil refinery in Europe. "
There are many towns in Romania like this, with the rapid development of bigger cities like Sibiu, Cluj, Timișoara, many little towns which could be transformed into tiny gems, are left neglected or at least, many that I hear of.
Who knows, maybe if I will ever get the chance to go back to Câmpina, I will see some improvement, as there are some exceptions, like Pădureni village from Vaslui.
