#COLECTIV: GIVE COLOR TO LIFE!
““We are as indestructible as we believe ourselves to be. When adults say with that sly and foolish smile, ‘adolescents think they are invincible,’ they don’t know how right they are. We should never be devoid of hope, for we can never be irreparably destroyed. We believe we are invincible because we truly are. We cannot be born, and we cannot die. Like any form of energy, we can only change our appearance, size, and manifestation.””
On Tuesday, November 10, 2015, the students of "Nicolae Tonitza" High School of Fine Arts organized the charity exhibition “Să dăm culoare vieții!” (Give Color to Life!) to help raise funds for the victims of the Colectiv club fire.
The exhibition's vernissage took place at Clubul Țăranului Român at 6:00 PM, followed by a concert by the White Mahala band at 8:00 PM.
We moved art from the "underground" spaces where it usually has to manifest itself, into an elegant and SAFE setting!
Project supported by: "Nicolae Tonitza" High School of Fine Arts, Montage Gallery and Clubul Țăranului Român.
Originally stemming from this project, on the evening of 10.11.2015, it served as a beacon of hope to help someone who will not be able to reclaim their old life,
but will hopefully have the chance to build a new one.
