cluj love
Cluj changed significantly since I visited. I stood about two weeks each time in two summers.
Back then it was quite a creative town, that was still enjoying somewhat of a bohemian air, since it was not the center of IT yet. It was more of the students' town, the party without hardcore rave town, the long walks in actually pretty (and painted parks), with wild locations to explore and enjoy outside of town.
Now I've heard the rent has gone insane and that Bucharest is drowning in dust while Cluj is blooming more than ever. I'm curious if the spirit's still there.
I loved the foggy days and how while Bucharest melted because of the heat, in Cluj there was always a chilly breeze.
Tarnița is one of those wild places worth exploring by foot and swimming.
The street art kept me staring at every corner (+ the architecture 2x time spent staring and finding the right angle to capture each moment in time).
Transylvanian hospitality didn't fail to impress and leave behind some wonderful memories.
I don't know what to tell you man, I'm sick of how the world evolved on this bit. To have to be your own marketing team, when you're just a creative trying to bring into the light, your truth.
The place is great, everywhere I go is great because I don't define greatness by beauty. I search for a meaning and I always find one that teaches me something.
This is one of the many results of those teachings.
Tutorials for how to create are great. They help your tools (whether they are actual tools or it's just your body trying shit) to manifest your internal reality easier, yet no tutorial can teach experience.
Experience is unique to each. Your experience of Cluj won't be mine and mine won't be yours.
