otopeni’s
An oasis on the edge of Bucharest, Otopeni holds some of my fondest memories. It was my refuge; a place where I could retreat from the noise of school and the chaotic pace of Bucharest.
What makes this town special, beyond its close-knit community, is its unique position between urban life and nature. That balance made every escape feel tangible, not just psychological or metaphorical. Returning there is always a reset; a breath of fresh air in the midst of pollution, a quiet pocket where everything feels lighter.
